What we are doing
Updated notice that the date for the temporary traffic lights are planned now to be in operation one day every fortnight until 30 November 2024, along Bascote Heath Road, Southam.
Two-way temporary traffic lights are planned to be in operation a day every fortnight from 17 November 2021 until 24 December 2021, then again twice weekly from January 2022 until November 2022 along Bascote Heath Road, Southam.
This will enable us to carry out monitoring of levelling pins already installed on the northern half of the carriageway, approximately 50cm away from the edge of the asphalt. These regular readings will allow us to monitor noise levels ahead of the upcoming launch and route taken by our tunnel boring machine.
Each survey measurement will be completed within a maximum three- hour (11am – 2pm) timeslot. The temporary traffic lights will only be installed when required on weekdays only.
