What we are doing
A new high-speed railway station is being built in Solihull. It is located close to the M42, M6, A45 Coventry Road and A446 Stonebridge Road/A452 Chester Road near the NEC and Birmingham Business Park. We have been carrying out a series of activities along the A452 ChesterRoad northbound, to ensure the local road network can support traffic once the new high-speed railway station opens.
As part of our ongoing work to protect local utility services, we will now carry out essential work to divert the existing water supply in the area.
To keep both our workforce and road users safe, we will install the following weeknight traffic management: Overnight closures on A452 Chester Road northbound
• Each weeknight from 10pm on Monday 29 September to 6am
