Notice of temporary daytime closure of Truggist Lane, Berkswell

What we are doing

As part of our ongoing works to Balsall Common Viaduct at Truggist Lane, we are now ready to remove some sheet piling for the pier closest to the
road. Sheet piling is a system used for temporary excavation support or retaining walls and can be removed after its purpose is served.

In order for us to carry out these works safely, we will close Truggist Lane. Phase one from Monday 18 August to Friday 22 August 2025. Phase two
will be from Tuesday 26 August to Friday 29 August 2025. The closures will be in place from 9.30am until 3.30pm each day. A fully signed diversion route will be in place. Please note if the works progress well on a day-to-day basis, BBV will lift the closure earlier then mentioned.

Please note that our highway consent requires Baulk Lane to be closed when Truggist Lane is closed. Access for residents will be maintained.

Please note due to the nature of the work being carried out pedestrians and cyclists will be escorted through the closure
