What we are doing
Following works to temporarily realign Faraday Avenue whilst we construct the new railway, we are required to carry out maintenance works. This will include various aspects such as footpaths, street lighting and road signage. To be able to complete these works safely this will require temporary single lane closures.
Only single lane closures will be implemented at any one time and whilst it’s not possible to define the specific closures for each day at this stage, these will be limited to:
• A446 Southbound – lane 1 (to coincide with lane closures on Faraday Avenue eastbound)
• Hams Hall Roundabout – lane 1
• Faraday Avenue eastbound (either lane 1 or lane 2)
• Faraday Avenue westbound (either lane 1 or lane 2)
These lane closures will be implemented from 09:30am-3:30pm and 8:00pm-3:00am each weekday over the following period:
• Monday 28th April to Friday 2nd May 2025
• Tuesday 6th May to Friday 9th May 2025
• Monday 12th May to Friday 16th May 2025
• Monday 19th May to Friday 23rd May 2025
