What we are doing
Location
B4115 Ashow Road and the junction of Stoneleigh Road and Birmingham Road, near Stoneleigh.
Duration
We recently communicated we would be closing B4115 Ashow Road at the crossroads in February 2026. These works have been postponed, we will close the road on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March 2026, from 7am to 2pm.
What we are doing
We will be resurfacing, replacing the white lines and streetlighting at the crossroads. As well as creating additional highway drainage.
What to expect
You may notice increased levels of construction activity and some minor travel disruption. There will be a fully signed diversion in place to help drivers navigate their way.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
