What we are doing
In January we will be completing road survey work in advance of the work in February. When we will be working on the streetlighting and road markings.
Location
B4115 Ashow Road at the junction of Stoneleigh Road and Birmingham Road, near Stoneleigh.
Duration
Phase One: Friday 23 January 2026 – B4115 Ashow Road crossroads will have four-way temporary traffic lights from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Phase Two: Saturday 7 and Saturday 21 February 2026 – B4115 Ashow Road crossroads will be closed from 7am to 2pm.
What to expect
You may notice increased levels of construction activity and some minor travel disruption. There will be a fully signed diversion in place to help drivers navigate their way. Access to properties and for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the works.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
