We previously informed you that the temporary traffic management on Diddington Lane would end on 23 December 2022. Unfortunately consent for the permanent access arrangement to this site has not yet been granted and therefore this traffic management will remain in place until the end of April 2023 and only used when necessary.

The new railway will cross over the River Blythe on a viaduct. In order to prepare the land for this new structure we will need to build a temporary haul road bridge across the river to reduce the amount of our traffic using local roads. To build this bridge we will need to bring in some materials via a controlled access on Diddington Lane. Will propose to install temporary traffic light from 10am until 3pm Monday to Saturday from 31 October until 23 December. The lights will be kept on green for the majority of the time and will only go to red to let the vehicles in and out.
