What we are doing
The new railway will cross the River Blythe on a viaduct before entering a deep cutting on the approach to the A45 (Coventry Road). To ensure that our works do not affect the electricity supply, National Grid Energy Distribution (NGED) have been diverting an electricity cable adjacent to Diddington Lane. NGED are now ready to joint the diverted cable but to do this safely they will need to put temporary traffic lights on a short section of Diddington Lane for 9 days. Access to Hampton Hill Hounds and Diddington Farm will be maintained. The lights will be in place 24 hours a day between 14 August and 22 August, but we will only be working from 8am until 6pm.
