The work we are doing

We will be carrying out trial trenching, along a section of Watling Street, which will involve digging into the ground to establish what is underneath the surface. This will provide us with information on the location of underground utilities, which we need to assess as we develop our construction plans.

For the work to be completed in a safe environment, we will be installing temporary traffic lights on Watling Street, please see map in downloadable notification. We will relocate these traffic lights as our works progress along either side of the carriageway. The temporary lane closures will be in place from 1-9 March between 9:00am and 3:30pm. Our teams may be on site up to one hour before and one hour after the works to set up and secure the site at the end of each day.
