Notice of the IM Building Demolition Works, near Coleshill

What we are doing

To support the ongoing construction of the HS2 mainline track, we will begin the demolition of the IM Building, situate at Coleshill Manor Office Campus, near Coleshill in January 2025. This demolition is essential to clear the site for the new track alignment. The demolition will be carried out in multiple phases. The first phase will focus on preparatory activities, including ecological and building surveys, utility disconnections, and vegetation clearance.

Following the completion of preparatory works, the main demolition phase will begin. This will involve soft stripping of the building and removal of external hardstanding. The demolition phase is expected to take approximately 12 weeks.

All activities will be carefully managed to ensure safety and minimize disruption to stakeholders throughout the process. Our working hours will be 8:00am until 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
Our workforce may be on site one hour before and after to set up and take down equipment. There may be times where our working hours are extended but we will notify local stakeholders about this. We will continue to keep you updated on the programme for our future works.
