Notice of Traffic Management, A418 Oxford Road – extension

What we are doing

In July, we will be reinstating the plant crossing on the A418 Oxford Road near the EKFB compound. This is to facilitate materials deliveries between our sites.

The crossing will be used for transporting stone and other material from one side of the A418 Oxford Road to the other.

As such, 2-way traffic signals will be necessary to manage the crossing point.

*8 July UPDATE* – due to more material being required, the deliveries taking place under the current plant crossing traffic management on the A418 will continue to the 26 July (original date 16 July).
*19 July UPDATE* – in order to transport materials between our sites to the Small Dean Viaduct, the plant crossing will be required.

When will these works take place?
• Tuesday 2 to Friday 26 July – plant crossing managed by traffic lights, 9:30am – 3pm
• Tuesday 30 – Wednesday 31 July (24 hours)

These dates may change due to conditions outside of our control. Please refer to the HS2 website regularly to check for any changes and updates.
