What we are doing
We want to inform you that there will be traffic management changes on Old Oak Common Lane from December 6 to December 22. The work will occur between our core working hours 8am to 6pm. During this period, the south-bound lane and east foot way will be closed under 2-way lights due to the works on the new retaining wall. We will be removing sheet piles along the new Crossrail Depot Retaining Wall. We have received consent and approval from TFL for the traffic management changes during the work period.
The purpose of these traffic changes is to create a safe working area to carry out the necessary work to complete structural works on the new reinforced concrete retaining wall at the top north end of Old Oak Common Lane.
Once this work is completed, the single lane closure will be removed.
