What we are doing
We are installing a new water main along sections of Claydon Road, Lee Road and Fiddlers Field/Snakes Lane. This is for private supplies feeding properties along Fiddlers Field/Snakes Lane. Both the upper and lower sections of Fiddlers Field will remain closed from 2 January 2024 for the duration of the Station Road realignment and will tie into the new road which is planned to open to traffic in April 2026.
From Monday 23 September 2024 until Friday 23 May 2025 a section of Claydon Road, Lee Road and Fiddlers Field/Snakes Lane will have temporary traffic lights controlling a lane closure.
