What we are doing
Towards the end of October there will be 3-way temporary traffic lights in place on Gawcott Road, Calvert. These will be in place to facilitate the Anglian Water asset connection to the existing pipe, including excavation, pipe and valve installation, backfilling and compaction.
The traffic management will be in place from Thursday 23 October to Friday 31 October 2025.
These dates may be subject to change due to circumstances outside of our control, such as weather.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
