Duration
Monday 26 January 2026 to Friday 13 February 2026. The traffic management will be in place from 08:00 to 17:00 each weekday.
What we are doing
As part of the ongoing preparations for the HS2 railway construction, we will be carrying out essential utility works on Cadbury Drive, Castle Vale.
What to expect
Installation of scaffolding and utility works. Low level noise from our machinery. Our workforce may be on site up to one hour before work begins to set up, and one hour after the works end to dismantle.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
