What we are doing

We will be installing utility ducting along Crackley Lane, to complete this work safely we will need to close a section of Crackley Lane between Blind Lane, Cryfield Grange Road and South Hurst Farm.
When will these works be taking place?
Installing utility ducting: 27 May to 21 June 2024
A full road closure will be in place 24 hours a day on these dates. You will be able to use a fully signposted diversion route during the closures and continue accessing all properties.
We will be undertaking utility diversion works along Crackley Lane. To prepare for the utility diversion we will:
- Complete trial hole surveys to detect and identify existing services and utilities.
- Install utility ducting to facilitate the utility diversion.
To complete this work safely, we will install traffic management on Crackley Lane between Blind Lane, Cryfield Grange Road and South Hurst Farm. *
Trial hole surveys from 29 January to 2 February 2024
To complete this work we will install temporary traffic lights from 29 to 30 January 2024 and a full road closure of Crackley Lane from 31 January to 2 February 2024.
Installing utility ducting from 4 March to 1 April 2024
A full road closure will be installed 24 hours a day to deliver these works.
A signed diversion route will be in place during the closures and access to all properties will be maintained.
We will be returning to this area, to complete this utility diversion, later in 2024. Further communications will be shared in advance of these works taking place.
We will be working on Crackley Lane between Blind Lane, Cryfield Grange Road and South Hurst Farm.
