What we are doing
At the end of October 2023 there will be a lane closure on Station Road which will be managed by traffic management. These works will include the careful trimming of some vegetation and the removal of great crested newt fencing.
Prior to any vegetation removal, an ecologist will complete a detailed survey of the area to be cleared. Any protected species found to be present will be recorded and the vegetation will be left undisturbed with the appropriate buffer zone established.
In order to carry out these works safely and effectively, there will be a lane closure on Station Road managed by traffic management.
When will these works take place?
The lane closure on Station Road will be controlled by temporary traffic lights on Tuesday 31 October until Wednesday 01 November 2023.
These dates may be subject to change due to circumstances outside of our control, such as weather
