What we are doing
Completing utility works in the roadside verge. Please see document below for more details.
Location
Boddington Road, near Claydon.
Duration
7.30am to 5pm, weekends
- Saturday 18 July and Sunday 19 July
- Saturday 25 July and Sunday 26 July
- Saturday 8 August and Sunday 9 August
From Monday 20 July to Sunday 2 August, NGED will be working in the area to complete the connections on several dates, depending on their availability. On these days traffic management and occasional stops will be required.
What to expect
- Manned road closure.
- Road traffic signs will be in place at this time.
- 15-minute traffic stops whilst we bring in materials and machinery.
- These temporary stops will be no more than 15 minutes at a time and not more than once an hour.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
