What we are doing
We will be carrying out ground surveys on Doric Way to locate existing services. This will help us plan and deliver future utility works efficiently. To complete these surveys, sections of the surface will be cut, broken out, and excavated. During this
period, five parking bays and one motorcycle bay will be suspended.
What to expect
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Start-up and close-down activities may occur up to one hour before and after these times. Occasionally, work may also take place on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
