What we are doing
In 2022 Cadent completed work to move an underground gas pipeline near Common Lane, south of King’s Bromley. Cadent will now be carrying out work to add additional protections to the relocated pipe, to ensure a safe and reliable gas supply.
To enable the condition of the pipeline to be monitored throughout its life, Cadent will be carrying out additional work on land off Common Lane from 12 February 2024.
The work will involve digging down to connect a cable to the pipeline and relocating a small test post.
Cadent expects to complete the work and reinstate the topsoil by the end of February 2024.
Construction vehicles will travel along the A515 and on to Common Lane to reach the working area. They will not be travelling through King’s Bromley
