What we are doing
We wrote to you previously to advise you that we would be carrying out utility surveys in October. However, these works did not go ahead as planned and have now been rescheduled to take place on 22 November 2021.
We will investigate the condition of the sewer system along Bridgwater Road, in the area shown on the map overleaf. This will help to inform our design decisions in the area.
We will use a CCTV camera mounted on a small robot. Should we find a blockage we may need to flush the drainage system using a high-pressure water jet to carry out the investigation.
How the surveys might affect you
For safety reasons, the footpath between Carmichael Close and Bridgwater Road Field will be closed for the duration of these works. A clear diversion route will be in place.
Your utility service will not be affected.
