Notice of utility works, corner of Rocky Lane and A413 London Road July 2024

What we are doing

We need to carry out utility work to make an electrical connection to an underground cable to the verge of the A413 to the north of the junction with Rocky lane and in the vicinity of the petrol garage.

The utility partner has provided us with a window in which these critical works can take place and works are due to start on Monday 22 July.

The works will be a combination of daytime and overnight works. Late night working is due to take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. We will be making every effort to minimise the amount of noise created by these works.

To protect the safety of our team working close to the carriageway we will close the southbound lane of the A413 at night. During the day there will be operatives working on the verge, but no traffic management.

When will these works take place?

• Monday 22 July:
  • night, 10.00pm until 5.30am – lane closure
• Tuesday 23 July:
  • daytime, 8.00am until 6.00pm
  • night, 10.00pm until 5.30am – lane closure
• Wednesday 24 July
  • daytime, 8.00am until 6.00pm
  • night, 10.00pm until 05.30 – lane closure
• Thursday 25 July
  • night – contingency if required
