What we are doing
Survey work – December 2022
We will be carrying out survey work in Rabournmead Drive park, on 19 and 20 December 2022. This will help to inform our design decisions in this area. Our surveyors will use equipment mounted on a tripod such as shown in the picture below to survey the ground levels.
They will be using the footpath or grass verges along the route.

Upcoming main utility works in 2023
What we are doing
From 16 January to 10 February 2023, we will be carrying out the main sewer protection works in Rabournmead Drive park. The main sewer protection works consist of relining the foul and surface sewer network in Rabournmead Drive Park and replacing maintenance covers.
Some vegetation will be cleared to allow for clear access to our working areas. We will set up a site compound within Rabournmead Drive park and install fencing to segregate our work area.
We will be using water tankers during the works, should we need to flush the sewer system.
Your utility services will not be affected.
How these works will affect you
In order to facilitate the sewer lining works, we will position a site working vehicle (tanker) adjacent to the entrance of the park. We will temporarily position a few cones on the road to segregate the area in which the vehicle will be parked.
We will maintain access to your driveways and the site working vehicle will be removed overnight.
You may hear additional noise during these works however, we will use noise reducing barriers to surround the work areas when noisy activities are in progress.
We would like to apologise in advance for any disruption or inconvenience this may cause. Every effort is being taken to ensure that these works are carried out in the least impactful way. We will ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum.
