What we are doing
Vegetation clearance for utility surveys
As we continue to prepare for the construction of the Old Oak Common tunnels, we need to carry out utility surveys on the alignment between the Old Oak Common Station and the Flat Iron site.
From 10pm Saturday 7 to 10pm Sunday 8 January 2023, we will be carrying out vegetation clearance which will consist of removing, shrubs, bushes, and downsizing trees by trimming trunks and leaves. The works will take place over a 24 hour period when trains are not running the Network Rail tracks.
Where will the vegetation clearance be taking place?
We will remove vegetation from inside our Flat Iron site and the Network Rail embankment. A map showing the location of our site and the planned vegetation removal works is included below.
