Notice of works at HS2 main site in Euston

What we are doing

Cobourg Street, Drummond Street, Euston Street, Melton Street, and Stephenson Way

Duration
From mid-January 2026 until approximately late March 2026.

What we are doing
We wrote to you in December 2025 (reference: HS2-EUS-SCP-25-1558) about works to construct a retaining wall using piling and concrete methods.These works will continue behind the hoarding along the roads mentioned above and within our site. Please note there may be periods of
increased noise.

What to expect
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Start-up and close-down activities may occur up to one hour before and after these times. Occasionally, work may also take place on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
