What we are doing
What we are doing
From the week commencing 12 April 2021, we will be carrying out works along Newyears Green Lane, shown on the map overleaf. These works will include:
- vegetation clearance, ecological surveys and hoarding installation. These activities will need to be carried out under a full road closure for safety reasons.
- utility surveys to investigate the condition of the culvert system, using a small CCTV camera mounted on a small robot. We may need to flush the system using a high-pressure water jet in the event of a blockage, in order to complete the investigation. This activity should be completed in one day if the weather permits. Temporary traffic management will be required to ensure these works can be carried out safely.
Access to the BFA Recycling Centre will be maintained throughout the works.
