What we are doing
Early works in the West Midlands for HS2 are carried out by a joint venture between Laing O’Rourke and Murphy & Sons known as LM.
LM is continuing to prepare for the construction of HS2 in your area. This includes the removal of existing vegetation along the line of the new railway. You may see our teams carrying out this work by the Washwood Heath compound and near Saltley Viaduct in February until Spring 2021.
- Duration of works: From February until Spring 2021.
- What to expect: Daytime works including vegetation removal. Our normal working hours are between 8:00am and 6:00pm on weekends and 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays.
- What we will do: Keep all sites safe and secure, while keeping disruption to a minimum.
