What we are doing
We will be carrying out CCTV surveys on Euston Street in two phases. These surveys will provide important design information needed for planned utilities works. To safely facilitate the activity, pedestrian walkways will be temporarily diverted. Euston Street will remain open throughout, although lane restrictions will be in place. Once the CCTV surveys are complete, our teams will return from April 2026 to carry out further utilities diversion works in the area, we expect works to continue intermittently until 2027.
We remain committed to keeping you informed throughout these activities and will provide updates as the programme progresses.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
