What we are doing
Removal of Mobile Elevating Work Platform on North Gower Street on Saturday 5 August 2023
Works continue to progress at the former Maria Fidelis school site to deliver staff office facilities and the Construction Skills Centre. As part of this work, we need now to remove a mobile elevating work platform on Saturday 5th August for approximately 2 – 3 hours. The platform will be removed from site via a construction access gate located on North Gower Street – see plan below.
Pedestrian access will be maintained via a temporary walkway. Traffic marshals will also be in place to hold back pedestrians whilst the platform is removed from the gate for collection. Please be reassured that access/egress from George Mews properties will be maintained.
