What we are doing
We are continuing our refurbishment of Maria Fidelis Old School and are now getting ready for landscaping works within the site. In order to do this we will be demolishing the external wall on Starcross Street. These works will take place from 9 March 2026 for up to four weeks. During these works there some parking bays on Starcross Street will be suspended.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
