What we are doing
Location
The Birmingham to Nuneaton Network Rail line in the Coleshill area. The What3Words for the location of our works: ///scars.deck.stage
Duration
Work will start at 10pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 to 5am on Monday 29 December 2025. The work will take place 24 hours a day for the duration.
What we are doing
The work involves installing parapets and pre-cast segments over the existing Network Rail line.
What to expect
This work cannot be undertaken during normal working hours without affecting the operation of the railway. Network Rail will close a section of the Birmingham to Nuneaton rail line.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
