What we are doing
Western Power Distribution (WPD) need to carry out work on their assets located on the A446 Lichfield Road.
In order to undertake the work safely, a road closure will be in place on the A446 from Midnight on Friday 26 August to 5am on Saturday 27 August. WPD’s workforce maybe onsite one hour before and one hour after to set up and secure their equipment. A fully signed diversion will be in place, (please see works notification for location and diversion).
Please note associated 24-hr lane closures will be in place on the A446 Lichfield Road, these will be in two phases, phase one will be a northbound lane closure between Monday 15 August and Friday 26 August, phase 2 will be a north and southbound lane closure between Monday 28 August to Sunday 25 September. Temporary traffic lights will be in place to manage the flow of traffic. These will be in operation 24 hours each day for the duration of this work. WPDs Contractors will be working in the area Monday to Sunday 8am to 6pm. WPD maybe on site one hour before and one hour after to set up and secure their equipment.
