What we are doing
To support the construction of the Old Oak Common tunnel we will be carrying out planned monitoring until 31 May 2027. These works will take place during core hours Mondays to Fridays 8am to 6pm, Saturdays 8am to 1pm. However please note as tunnelling progresses daily monitoring will take place from June to December 2026 including weekends.
You may notice operatives in the area carrying out monitoring in front of, and at the rear of, 155 to 167 Wells House Road.
We have agreed access to the rear of these properties and will aim to minimise any disruption to residents. We will need to take readings from the prisms and studs located on these buildings and on the pavement.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
