Overnight closures of the A446 Lichfield Road, Coleshill

What we are doing

UPDATED: Due to unforeseen circumstances, these works have been delayed and will now end on Monday 3 June. The closures are from 8pm each night and will be removed at 5am each morning.*

Please be aware that the previous information given regarding day time traffic management on the A446 Lichfield Road, at the junction of Watton Lane, still remains and the temporary traffic lights will be in place each day.

To continue our preparation for the construction of the HS2 railway, we will be diverting utilities along the A446 Lichfield Road between junctions with Gorsey Lane and Marsh Lane in both directions. To complete these works safely we will be installing a series of overnights road closures.

UPDATED: Due to unforeseen circumstances, these works have been delayed by one week. The work will now take place from Monday 8 April to Monday 20 May. The closures are from 8pm each night and will be removed at 5am each morning.

These works include weekends however, some Saturday and Sunday nights may not be required. Weekend working will only take place, where necessary.
These works exclude bank holidays.
Please be aware that the previous letter sent regarding day time traffic management on the A446 Lichfield Road, at the junction of Watton Lane, still remains and the temporary traffic lights will be in place each day.
