What we are doing
The new railway will pass under the A45 as it approaches the new interchange station. We are currently constructing the A45 service road bridges and will commence construction of the A45 Overbridge in 2025. Over the summer we have been diverting utilities, creating new entrances into our construction compound and installing safety barriers.
We will now install some overnight closures to complete barrier and surfacing works. To minimise disturbance, we will do this work overnight for four nights. The work will take place each night on Monday 11 November, Tuesday 12 November and Wednesday 13 November between 8pm and 6am. On Thursday 14 November the overnight closure will be later from 11:30 until 6am.
