Overnight installation of rainbow crossing
In March 2022 SCSJV painted the iconic rainbow symbol at a crossing point on Victoria between the Holbrook building and the former Castle Pub. Unfortunately, due to the crossing being damaged, we will be repainting the markings of the rainbow crossing.
Temporary overnight Road changes on Victoria Road
To carry out these works safely and minimise the impact to the road network, work will take place overnight on 19 June between the hours of 10pm and 5am the morning of 20 June 2022. During these works we will need to close a section of road on Victoria Road to re-paint the crossing markings. A signed vehicle diversion route will be in place during.
We will also need to temporarily close bus stop North Action Station (Stop Z) next to the Holiday Inn Express on Victoria Road overnight. The next closest stops are Chase Road North Acton (Stop U), North Acton Station (Stop B) and Wales Farm Road (Stop C).
