Aston Church Road between Arley Road and Chartist Road
Duration
One lane of Aston Church Road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 30 March and 5 April.
What we are doing
You may be aware that Aston Church Road has recently been realigned onto a new, taller bridge to accommodate the new railway beneath it. The road has now
reopened to vehicle traffic. We now need to resurface the footpaths ahead of them opening. In order to carry these works out safely, we will need to close one lane of Aston Church Road.
What to expect
Temporary traffic lights manage traffic in both directions.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
