Update: overnight survey on Alperton Lane

What we are doing

We wrote to you in February to let you know we would be doing an overnight CCTV survey of the sewer on Alperton Lane on 19 February 2025. This survey was postponed as the water levels in the sewer were too high.

We will now carry out the survey overnight on Monday 12 May and Tuesday 13 May 2025.

We will access the sewer under the ground through a manhole in the road. We will measure the water levels in the sewer. We will then insert a camera to survey the condition of the sewer. We may need to wash the sewer with a jet washing machine to improve visibility for the camera.

There will be a partial lane closure and three-way temporary traffic lights at the junction of Alperton Lane and Manor Farm Road from 8pm until 5am on both nights. The lane will be reopened during the day.

You may hear some noise if we need to jet wash the sewer. We will use noise reducing barriers where possible.
