What we are doing
*Update notice:
- 24hr weekend closure 8 March to 11 March, starting at 8:00pm and ending at 6:00am
- 24hr weekend closure 15 March to 18 March, starting at 8:00pm and ending at 6:00am
- During the above closures Drayton Lane will not be accessible from A453 Sutton Road*
We will be creating a temporary diversion on the A453 Sutton Road, to allow for future construction works, and to enable the A453 Sutton Road to pass over the new railway.
To enable the safe and efficient delivery of these works, we require overnight closures of A453 Sutton Road and Drayton Lane.
Our works include: resurfacing, connecting the existing road to the temporary diversion and line painting.
A453 Sutton Road: road closure
• 12 February to 31 March, Monday to Friday between 8.00pm to 6.00am – apart from:
- 24hr weekend closure 8 March to 11 March, starting at 8:00pm and ending at 6:00am.
- 24hr weekend closure 15 March to 18 March, starting at 8:00pm and ending at 6:00am.
Drayton Lane: road closure between 8.00pm to 6.00am
- 26 February to 1 March
- 4 March to 8 March
- 11 March to 22 March
- 25 March to 29 March
These works are subject to consent and may change. Most of these works have been scheduled overnight to reduce the impact on the community. Emergency services will have access through our works.
