What we are doing
Hampstead Road temporary utilities diversion
We are currently carrying out utility diversion works on Hampstead Road.
We need to temporarily divert existing utilities on Hampstead Road before we extend Hampstead Road bridge. From April 2024 to April 2025, we will remove all the utilities from Hampstead Road and redirect them across Granby Terrace bridge and over the retaining wall within our worksite. After we extend Hampstead Road bridge, we will permanently reinstall the utilities on Hampstead Road.
From 14 October 2024 to 28 May 2025 we will work in the southern section, which will require road closure on Varndell Street.
