What we are doing
Location
Northbound carriageway of the A452 Kenilworth Road, between Bradnock’s Marsh roundabout and Meriden roundabout.
Duration
Due to the recent adverse weather conditions impacting our work, we are unable to reopen lane one of the northbound carriageway on Friday 20 February 2026 as communicated previously. The lane closure will be in place until 6pm on Friday 6 March 2026. The closure is 24 hours.
What we are doing
We are undertaking utility works on the verge. The lane closure is required so that we can complete our work safely.
What to expect
There will be increased construction activity during the closure, and you will experience some disruption to your travel times. Please plan ahead to avoid delays to your journey.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
