Update: Gate replacement at the Vehicle Holding Area on Prince Albert Road

What we are doing

We previously informed you that we need to replace the entrance gate at our Vehicle Holding Area (VHA).

On Monday 31 March 2025, we will replace the existing temporary gate with a new sliding gate, which will be delivered by a large crane.

We will first dismantle the old gate and surrounding panels. The crane will then lift the new gate into place where it will be installed into the existing foundations.

We plan to carry out this work within our site, during core working hours, 8am to 6pm. We expect some of this work to be noisy and will monitor noise levels closely to ensure we are working within the approved limits.

The crane delivery will be a large load delivery before 6am and collection after 8pm. For safety reasons, these loads need to be moved at night or early in the morning outside peak traffic hours.
