What we are doing
Works to strengthen and protect the utilities beneath Park Village East ahead of tunnelling and major excavation works within our Camden Cutting worksite.
Sewer lining on Park Village East north – from 17 to 24 October.
From 17 to 24 October, we will install a lining within the sewer at the northern end of Park Village East via existing manholes within the road.
- Works will be carried out 24/7, day and night to install the lining. These works will not be noisy
- Parking bays suspension and narrow the lane in front of properties 2 to 4, 16 and 22 to 28 Park Village East to safely access the manholes.
- Road closure at the northern end of Park Village East each night from 18 to 21 October, between 7pm and 7am
- Road will also be closed for an hour during the day on 18 and 19 October.
- Resident access to Park Village East north will be maintained via Parkway.
Footway closures and parking bay suspensions on Park Village East south
From 17 to 21 October, we will suspend parking bays and close sections of the rail-side footway on Park Village East south to survey the sewer via manholes. We will carry out the surveys one at a time, releasing each parking bay as we complete the relevant survey.
Please be aware that Mornington Street Bridge will be closed for traffic from 7 November to 4 December, pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained.
