Diddington Lane – Hampton-In-Arden, Solihull

Diddington Lane full closure:
All day, every day from 9.30am on Monday 16 March 2026 until 9am on Saturday 19 September 2026.

What we are doing
Traffic management will be installed on Diddington Lane to allow our workforce to safely complete essential utility diversions, and the new road alignment as part of our
planned works.The road will reopen to the public once these works are complete and it is safe to do so.

What to expect
Low level noise from our works. A fully signed diversion route will be in place during each closure.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
