From 5am on Saturday 25 April until 10pm on Sunday 26 April 2026
What we are doing
Traffic management will be in place to enable our workforce to safely carry out Phase 1 slide of M6 South viaduct West Deck.
What to expect
Low level noise from our works.
A fully signed diversion route during each overnight closure. These works are subject to consent.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
