What we are doing
CONTRACTOR UPDATE – UPDATED DATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, these works have been extended. The works are currently taking place but will now finish on Wednesday 1 May. The traffic lights will be in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the duration of these works.
To continue our preparation for the construction of the HS2 railway, we will be connecting utilities along the B4114 Birmingham Road on a section of the re-aligned road near to the River Cole bridge. To complete these works safely we will be introducing a single lane closure with traffic management in place.
These works will take place from Tuesday 2 April to Friday 26 April. The traffic lights will be in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the duration of these works.
