What we are doing
We will be carrying out trial trenching, along sections the road and verges, which will involve digging into the ground to establish what is underneath the surface.
This will provide us with information on the location of underground utilities, which we need to assess as we develop our construction plans.
For the work to be completed in a safe environment, we will be temporarily closing roads or implementing traffic management.
