Tree trimming works on Victoria Road, North Acton

What we are doing

We will be trimming trees along the raised footpath on Victoria Road between Dudding Hill Bridge and Chandos Road. These works are required to ensure the safe removal on the HS2 conveyor bridge later in the year.

There will be a temporary footpath closure on Victoria Road from Midland Terrace to just past Chandos Road, with a signed pedestrian diversion in place. A southbound lane on Victoria Road will also be closed between Dudding Hill Bridge and the mini roundabout at Chandos Road.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
