Sewer works:
As part of our station enabling works, we need to connect the tunnelling from our HS2 SCS site to Old Oak Common. These works will take place next year, and you can find out more information about this work in SCS’ newsletter: https://assets.hs2.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/UPDATE_HS2-SCS-25-1141-Old-Oak-Common-Tunnel-October-2025.pdf

There will be no impact on residential services during any of these works. Access for Wells House Road residents and visitors will be maintained throughout.

Weekend closure dates:

• Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November 2025: overnight only 8.00pm–5.00am
• Saturday 6 – Sunday 7 December: from 6.00am Saturday to 10.00pm Sunday

Full weekend closure from 6.00am Saturday 6 to 10.00pm Sunday 7 December
Tie-in for the northern realignment: To help us construct the northern realignment on Old Oak Common Lane, there’ll be a weekend when Old Oak Common Lane will be closed to allow new and existing stretches of road to be connected. This will help us lay out the new foundations for the road. You can find out more information about these works in the following newsletter: https://www.hs2.org.uk/about-us/documents/old-oak-common-lane-newsletter-july-2025/

Access for Wells House Road residents will be maintained at all times. Work over this weekend will include:

• Plaining out the road (with a machine like a combine harvester)
• Realigning tarmac
• Lining the road
• Utility connections

A second weekend closure will follow early in the new year and we’ll share details soon.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
