What we are doing
We wrote to you recently to advise that we would be carrying out utility surveys in Greenford late May. Following a drain clearance, we will need to revisit one of the work areas.
On 18 August 2021, we will be carrying out utility surveys overnight on Rockware Avenue in Greenford, in the area shown on the map overleaf. The surveys will provide us with information on the condition and location of the utility services and help us to decide how best to protect them while we are building HS2.
We will investigate the condition of the sewer system using a CCTV camera mounted on a small robot. Should we find a blockage we may need to flush the system using a high-pressure water jet to carry out the investigation.
How the surveys might affect you
Temporary traffic management, parking bay suspensions and a lane closure will be in place to ensure the surveys can be carried out safely.
Your utility services will not be affected.
