What we are doing
What are we doing?
We will be starting work to move an existing gas pipeline near the A51, north east of Swynnerton, in early 2022. In June this year, we carried out some surveys on land either side of the A51 near where it crosses the M6, to understand more about the land we’ll be working in.
We will be returning to carry out more surveys on 3 September 2021. The work will take place for around two days. It will involve drilling boreholes and digging small pits so we can take samples of the ground to analyse.
Vehicles will be accessing our working area off Stab Lane, via Swynnerton Road. Signage may be installed on the roadside at this location, to ensure safe access and exit for vehicles.
There will be 24-hour security on site so we can maintain a safe working environment. Please note, there will be no on-site lodging.
How will this affect you?
You may notice some people and equipment on site while we carry out the works. There will not be any disruption to your utilities during our works.
